We have not appointed a data protection officer because we are not legally required to. For any privacy question, write to hello@remic.dev.

2. What this website does and does not do

• It is a static website. It has no user accounts and no forms that store data.
• It sets no cookies and uses no analytics, tracking pixels or advertising.
• All fonts, images and scripts are served from this website itself. Your browser makes no requests to third parties such as Google Fonts or social networks.
• Buttons such as "Request early access" open your email program; nothing is sent until you send the email yourself.

3. Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted on Firebase Hosting, a service of Google (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, and Google LLC, USA). When you open a page, your browser sends technical data that the hosting service needs to deliver it and to protect against attacks: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page and your browser's user agent.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in delivering a secure and working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not combine this data with other data and do not use it to identify you. Google processes it on our behalf under its data processing terms; we have not enabled any export of access logs to us. Data may be processed in the USA; Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply in addition.

4. Contacting us by email

When you email hello@remic.dev (for example to request early access or to become a design partner), we process your email address, name, the content of your message and any details you include, to answer you and, where you ask for it, to prepare a contract.

Legal basis: steps prior to entering into a contract at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Emails to this address are forwarded to our mailbox by our domain provider Namecheap, Inc. (USA). We delete your message once your request is resolved, unless commercial or tax law requires us to keep it (up to 6 or 10 years under § 257 HGB and § 147 AO).

5. Your rights

You have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR);
• have it corrected (Art. 16) or erased (Art. 17);
• restrict its processing (Art. 18);
• receive it in a portable format (Art. 20);
• object at any time to processing based on our legitimate interest, on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21);
• lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU country where you live or work or where the alleged infringement took place (Art. 77).

6. Other information

You are not obliged to provide personal data; without an email address we cannot answer you. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling. We will update this policy when the website changes; the date at the top shows the current version.
